The following prices are basic prices as the definite price for a model will depend on the size
and the finishing (decoration). Especially when building gamba's and violones, the differences
between basic and definite prices can become significant because of the decoration: e.g. the
standard model of a gamba has an open scroll with purfling in the belly.

Hiring an instrument
The price for hiring an instrument is 35 Euro per month. The maximum period for hiring is two years. It
is possible to switch from one instrument to another, e.g. changing a 6 string bass viol for a 7 string.
The number of instruments which is free for hiring is limited but all the instruments are handmade.
Hire-purchase
If you decide to buy an instrument after a period of hiring, the purchase price will be
reduced with the amount of money payed for hiring.
This way of hire-purchase gives you the opportunity to make the right choice and to play
an instrument that really fits you.
